The mountains around the Aadla Chalets are ideal for families: take the cable car up, hike at the top, admire the panorama or stop for refreshments on the sun terrace.
Out and about with the guest card
The guest card is included in the chalet price for stays of three nights or more. This gives you free access to many benefits – including mountain railways and excursion destinations in the region.
Steffisalp Railway
The Steffisalp cable car is just five minutes from the Aadla Chalets. With your guest card, you can ride up for free and then enjoy a leisurely hike back to the chalets via several alpine pastures.
On this easy hike you will also pass by the Körbersee lake, which is nestled in alpine roses and flat moss.
Diedamskopf
In the neighboring village of Schoppernau, a family-friendly option awaits, featuring a large sun terrace and easy hiking trails. The gondola lift allows you to enjoy the view comfortably, even with children, dogs, and strollers.
From the mountain station, you can reach the summit in about 15 minutes and sign the summit register. Afterwards, an alpine pasture or mountain restaurant awaits.
Tip: The sun terrace of the mountain restaurant offers magnificent views – it's best to rent a deck chair and make yourself comfortable.
